Baking!!!

I'm on my annual baking spree. My ambitions for this year include 7 types of cookies and 4 different bars. Whether this all gets done before tomorrow night, I dunno. But I'm certainly gonna try! So far, I've got 4 batches chocolate chip cookies, 4 batches peanut butter cookies, 2 pans of peanut butter rice krispie squares, 2 pans of brownies and a pan of cafe au lait bars completed. I've also got dough for 2 batches of sugar cookies in the fridge. Those, for sure, will be done tomorrow (well I guess today now lol). I also hope to get the cherry spiral cookies and rocky road squares done. Everything else would just be a bonus.

Brianna is a Timbit!

Brianna's having a blast in her curling lessons. Today they had the year end Christmas party and the kids got their vests with their names on it. Brianna is just tickled and won't take it off lol Lee asked to day if she's enjoying curling and wants to stay in it... I don't think there's any doubt of her sticking it through for at least the rest of the year!

Screw The Diet!

Ok, so it's Christmas. Who the hell can stay on a diet now!?! I've totally fallen off the wagon and gotten ran over it anyways, so I aint even gonna bother now. Christmas eve is in a week, I start Christmas baking on Monday (7 diff cookies and 4 diff bars) and we have 2 Christmas dinners to go to. Not to mention all the junky crap you get for Christmas and all the leftovers everyone is stuck with. Yup, screw it!

On to baking, a much happier topic. This year, as always, I'm making a bunch of stuff and sending some in to Lee's work. I'm also sending a bunch into mom's work and will probably bring a bunch to Grandma Hart's (if there's any left by Christmas Day!).

I am making:
- Fudgy Brownies
- Cafe Au Lait Bars
- Rocky Road Squares
- Peanut Butter Rice Krispie Bars
- Peanut Butter Cookies
- Sugar Cookies
- Cherry Spiral Cookies
- Chocolate Coffee Cookies
- Chewy Skor Cookies
- Soft Chocolate Chip Cookies
- Devil Bites

No wonder I say screw the diet lol

On To Computer Number 3....

Yesterday mom's laptop would no longer load an internet browser. The net was working fine cause my weather eye loaded and was giving the correct weather, but Mozilla wouldn't load. Even went so far as trying Internet Explorer, no go. *sigh* Thank cripes, we got my dinosaur of a laptop (which we didn't think was even internet capable!) to work with the net. Now I don't know if there's a wireless card in it cause I have my modem cable plugged into it, but I don't care! I still have net! I sooooo need a new computer....
